a 'la Paoz circle

I am pleased how quickly this one shaped up. In only about 10 minutes I got this drawn and without any references, just from memory.

I really like the Paoz circle's interpretation of the DBZ characters. They have a wonderful line quality and nice screentone work. They also make their heads in the shape of equilateral triangles so the characters' faces are not so elongated as some circles' interpretations.

This is a very light sketch with some nice lines which are not picked up by the scan. I found this image extremely difficult to scan so it looked half-way correct. I had a larger scan but this smaller one looked more accurate to the original work.

After I scanned this I took it into Photoshop and 'whitened' up the paper a bit. The scan made it look like the paper had lots of pencil smears on it.

I might try my hand at colouring this one in Photoshop, after I get a Wacom tablet and learn how to use it.
