1st Attempt - Headshot sketch

(Note: those of you from the Nocturne BB will recognize this blurb but I figured, since I had already articulated my comments there I might as well use it here as well.)

This is my first attempt at drawing anything remotely anime.
*cringes and dodges*

I did it freehand from memory during a meeting so I knew I did not have some of the elements completely correct. When I got back to the office I looked at my dbz screensaver and fiddled with the eyebrow and eye shapes to be more canon. The eyes are a bit wonky but so are the eyes in the anime at times.

The next day I went back over parts with a different coloured ink pen to help define the lines I wanted emphasized.

I went for the head and shoulders look because there is no way I could even fathom male muscles from memory.

When I signed this I signed the incorrect date. I actually did this in April, 4/30/02.
