This is my very first single chara Gravitation pic. It probably surprises folks I did not draw my favorite grumpy blond novelist. It surprised me as well.

It is all because of a little photo I saw in rat's 1999 Playboy Hardbodies mag - I saw it, noticed the tank top, and knew I had to draw my favorite pink tribble.

He is looking a little wistful here, isn't he? I wonder if he is looking in the distance at his grumpy lover?

After scanning the drawing, I cobbled the shirt pattern together from a Japanese screentone swatch then defined it as a pattern in Photoshop so it would tile in a selection. I added a grey undertone to it so would contrast a little more with the skin and between these two is a built-in Photoshop texture fill taken down to about 12% opacity.

I went in and put some shading on his chest with Photoshop so it looks more flat because without it he looked like he had boobs....

For those people who don't like the longer hair, I just like the boys shaggier than their usual look, like they have been on a long vacation together, more concerned with shagging each other than having shaggy hair!
